Skoda isn’t the only one. Mercedes-Benz, the greatest player in the extravagance of automobile marketing, is ready to launch AMG C63 coupe and AMG GT R from its super-incredible AMG portfolio on Wednesday.  And, the launching would be through the digital channels.

Before launching the power-packed products, MD & CEO Martin Schwenk said “Extraordinary times like this call for extraordinary steps… following the new normal of social distancing, we will bring to you an exclusive e-launch of these two AMGs directly from Mercedes-Benz India’s innovative ‘Consultation Studio’… Looking forward to e-connect for this exclusive digital launch,”  

Xiaomi, the Chinese phone giant has also taken part by launching the Mi 10 5G Smartphone on May 8. The trend of online launches had begun a little before the first lockdown announcement in late March.

 

While dropping their international travel plans, many companies are ready to take the media for new launches. The Mobile World Congress (MWC) at Barcelona has been cancelled because of the COVID-19 fears that have started circulating across the globe. One Plus had also opted for a digital platform as they unveiled its new series, OnePlus 8 on their social media channels on April 14.
